The J1 special edition commemorates the Junkers J1 - the first flying metal airplane in aviation history, which was developed by Junkers. Until then, airplanes had only been built from lightweight components such as wood, fabric and wire ropes. These had the disadvantage that the necessary external struts caused resistance and the payload and safety were naturally limited.
Hugo Junkers was convinced that these fundamental problems could be solved by integrating the struts into metal wings. But making metal fly was considered impossible. Through intensive research in the field of aerodynamics, Professor Hugo Junkers succeeded in designing the optimum metal wing shape. In doing so, he revolutionized aircraft construction. The J1 was completed in 1915 and flew flawlessly on its first test flight. It was the only flight that the J1 ever completed, but it still went down in aviation history.

Es ist eine sehr schöne...
Es ist eine sehr schöne Uhr! Besitze eine Junkers Dessau 1928 der Bauhausserie und von Zeppelin LZ129 Hindenburg und Chronographen. Bin mit beiden sehr zufrieden! Ob Junkers J1 Sonderedition 2018 meine nächste hr wird, überlege ich noch. Danke, dass Sie mich darauf aufmerksam gemacht haben!

Ein super Service, leider war die Uhr nichts für mich aber die Bestellung und der Versand sowie auch die Retoure kann man nicht besser machen. Ein großes Lob.

Die J1 Sonderedition ist...
Die J1 Sonderedition ist eine sehr schöne Uhr. Das sehr gut ablesbare, klar strukturierte Zifferblatt gefällt mir sehr! Das Kürzen des schönen Metallarmbandes nach meiner Größenangabe hat ausgezeichnet geklappt und die Ganggenauigkeit der Uhr ist übrigens entgegen anderslautenden Bewertungen „gut“.

Ich finde die verschraubte Krone super. Endlich gibts eine Junkers Uhr mit dieser Krone. Und das Ziffernblatt schaut auch cool aus!

Heute bekommen und bin begeistert. Sehr schöne Uhr mit tollem Armband. Der Tragekomfort ist mir persönlich wichtiger als 100% Genauigkeit. Kann ja eingestellt werden...daher von mir 5*
